I brought my computer in while on vacation due to difficulties with the network adapter. Frank was very friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. He was able to repair my computer within 24 hours and had it working like new after clearing it of corrupted files. Definitely recommended!

Edit 8/17/25: 911 Tech Repair continues to offer great service! My laptop needed another hardware repair recently (totally user error on my end- I left it in the car during a heat wave and the bezel completely detached from my screen). Once again, Frank gave me a really understandable explanation of what would be required to fix it with a prompt estimate of parts + labor cost. He also continued to provide timely updates throughout the process, and offered accommodating options for pickup that fit even with my chaotic work schedule. My laptop was ready before my next semester starts and literally looks brand new. Would 100% recommend!

[OG Review]: Frank is a lifesaver! Both of the hinges on my laptop popped off, and I was worried that it couldn’t be fixed before finals. Not only did Frank talk me through multiple repair options (and price points)- he also finished fixing it a few days earlier than expected, and gave me advice on how to avoid similar problems in the future. My PS5 for the better part of 6 months had been consistently overheating and I tried everything to fix it. Got it a new stand, an extra fan, cleaned all the dust, I even brought it to a different repair store to get it fixed but they weren’t able to identify the problem. Fast forward to now I brought it in told them what was wrong and they were able to fix the overheating issue in a day. Would recommend to get your console or laptop fixed.

I went to this guy. He asked me if I can leave my computer with him so you can take the price. Let me know about the price and then he fixed it when I accepted the price he did it so I’m happy

Over 5 years ago I had a really nice laptop with water damage start smoking on me. I carried it around for years hoping I could get it fixed one day. 911 Tech in Crystal Lake managed to bring this completely fried laptop back to life for a surprisingly low price! New charging port, repaired motherboard, new battery and she’s running like new. I would recommend this place to anyone with any kind of tech issues even if you think your item is too far gone. I will be back in the future!

Any big company would have tried convincing me to buy a new laptop or charged me insane prices for that fix. I walked out and spent less than $300 to bring back a laptop that cost over $1,500.
