We charge a $69 diagnostic fee upfront because diagnosing a laptop requires technician time, specialized equipment, and testing to identify the exact cause of the issue. This fee covers the diagnostic work performed on your device.

The good news: the $69 diagnostic fee is credited toward your repair and becomes FREE when you proceed with a successful repair. In other words, if we are able to complete the repair, you will not pay the $69diagnostic fee in addition to the repair cost.

The return shipping fee is also collected upfront to cover the cost of safely packaging, handling, and shipping your laptop back to you after the diagnostic or repair process is completed.

These upfront fees allow us to begin the diagnostic process and ensure that all shipping and handling costs are covered.
